Happy Wednesday!
I hope you're having a crafty kind of week! We are halfway through another fabulous week and nearly at the end of April! I can't believe how quickly time flies these days! Speaking of flies...LOL I wanted to share this fun card with you today! **No flies were harmed in the making of this card, but no doubt coffee was involved. LOL
I created this card using Frankie from Unity Stamps. This little guy just makes me laugh. We can all use a little laughter in our day, right? I've used this stamp quite a few time and I always try to create more than one card while I have sets out. Sometimes, I make the same card or very similar and other times, I make two completely different ones. How about you? Do you make more than one card while you have a stamp set out?
Here's my version of Frankie...
Supplies used:
- The card base is Neenah 80#.
- I stamped the image on Neenah 80# as well.
- The image and sentiment are from Frankie - a stamp set from Unity Stamps.
- Colored with Copic Markers:
- Frankie; YG09, YG17, YG67, G07
- Shadow; C2, C3, W1
- The cattails are a retired die from Spellbinders named Cattails D-Lites. I cut 2 of them and slightly over lapped them behind the image. I used black 65# card stock from my stash.
- The background papers are all from my stash of miscellaneous card stock and patterned papers.
- I used a Gelly Roll Pen to add white spots to Frankie.
- The image and sentiment were stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
- I always use my MISTI to make sure I get a great stamped impression every time.
- TBA
What a fun sentiment and a great coloured stamp to go with it, love the design too x
